The creche is manned by approved volunteers in a bright, friendly and safe environment. The walls of the creche room have been beautifully decorated with lovely murals. For pictures of the creche room click here. We have a large Sunday school on Sunday mornings and this takes place during the morning service. Classes are held for all age ranges up to teenagers. It gives Mums an opportunity to meet together, share friendships and listen to occasional speakers. Sample topics are: music making, looking after your child's teeth, and recipe swapping. Open Door is held on Thursdays from 10.00am till 1.00pm and is open to all in our neighbourhood for tea, coffee and friendship. It is not a religious activity; it is your opportunity to come along and make friends. Our welcome team will make you feel at home the minute you walk through the door. Opportunities for prayer are provided before the Sunday services, also during the week, both at the Church and in members homes. A Prayer Breakfast is also held on one Saturday a month. At Easter time we have a number of special services to commemorate the death and subsequent resurrection of Jesus from the dead. In March/April, follow this link for details. Each Christmas time we have a number of special events and services to celebrate the birth of Jesus. As well as traditional lessons and carols we often enjoy special Christmas music by the Choir, a play performed by the children and perhaps a presentation by the puppet team. In December, follow this link for details. |
